St Columba, Arbory & St Mary on the Harbour, Castletown are both collection points for the Isle of Man Food Bank. The Food Bank helps to feed people who are in need across the Island.
At each church we have a green box to leave donations of tinned food. Donations can be left at Arbory any day of the week between 9.30am and 4pm and there is a box just inside the porch door.
At St Mary on the Harbour, Castletown, food can be left on a Friday between 10.30am and 12 noon or Sunday morning from 10.30am or after our morning service.
This is a much needed service, especially to families who are struggling.
Here is a suggestion of some of the items that might be useful:
Tea, coffee, juice, sugar, tinned meat, fruit and vegetables, rice pudding, buscuits, pasta, pot noodles, jars of jam and spread, breakfast cereal, longlife milk. Also toiletries and cleaning products, toilet rolls and disposable nappies.
